Video Stream: What Is Sermorelin Ghrh The Facts You Need To Know
Sermorelin is an exogenous biologically-active molecular analog (analog means a compound that resembles another molecule in structure but is a shorter version of it) of the hypothalamic growth hormone-releasing hormone, GHRH.
GHRH Secretagogue: Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone
GHRH is a secretagogue (meaning it stimulates the production of another molecule; in this case HGH) produced in the brain in the hypothalamus and stimulates the production and release of growth hormone by the pituitary gland.
During youth, the pituitary gland floods the bloodstream with growth hormone, which causes dramatic increases in strength, growth, and energy.
Pituitary Gland Production Declines, So Does Hypothalamic GHRH
However, as we age, the pituitary's production of growth hormone drops steeply.
The result is that aging slowly but inevitably raises its ugly head, with all of its gifts: increasing muscle weakness, muscle decline, painful joints, inflammation, and decreased mobility, chronic fatigue, accumulation of hideous slabs of blubber, brain fog, and more…many more.
Oh, the joys of getting old! Not to mention the sex drive drops precipitously.
It is believed that the GHRH decline is responsible for GH decline (Growth Hormone Decline).
The rate of this drop in HGH levels is approximately 10% per decade. The result is an 80-year-old person that has lost more than one-half of his/her precious growth hormone release! In some, HGH levels decline at different rates, but the loss is inevitable.
However, you are not helpless in the face of this onslaught. There are steps you can take to slow down the aging process to a crawl. And Sermorelin is a powerful tool for you to consider adding to your anti-aging arsenal.
A Definition of Sermorelin Acetate
Sermorelin is the acetate salt of the synthetic amino acid polypeptide type, which consists of the first 29 of 44 amino acids that are naturally occurring in Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (the functional 29 amino acids that cause the pituitary gland to release HGH).
Sermorelin acetate is the last segment of the hypothalamic-releasing hormones to be identified and characterized and represents the shortest fragment of GHRH known to possess the full biological activity of the parent hormone known as Human Growth Hormone-releasing hormone (GH-RH).
In other words, you don't need all 44 amino acids of GHRH to stimulate HGH release; you only need the first 29. Below 29, the molecule no longer functions appropriately as they found in medical research. So 29 is the cutoff point for functionality.
Sermorelin Versus HGH
In contrast to increasing growth hormone levels via the injection of synthetic recombinant HGH or Bio-identical Human Growth Hormone, Sermorelin acetate is similar to natural GH-RH concerning its ability to stimulate natural HGH secretions in humans. This is a crucial point to understand.
Is Sermorelin Effective?
In a word, YES! Injectable Sermorelin has been effective in treating growth hormone deficiency in children and adults.
Our HGH clinic is confident that Sermorelin will also be useful in the treatment of adult growth hormone deficiency as well and we have done so for thousands of patients since HGH has proven itself effective in similar cases conducted under clinical trials (we have surprisingly had more success with Sermorelin than HGH injections).
The Sermorelin used by our clinic has been studied for 40 years in more than 70 clinical trials in over 4,000 patients totaling more than 1,000 patient-years of treatment.
Injectable Sermorelin for Treating Adults and Children
Injectable Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone in the form of Sermorelin was approved for use in children by the FDA in 1997 and became available to our clinic in 1998.
It is an experimental treatment with regards to adult patients who are prescribed about half the dose of a small child.
Is Sermorelin Treatment Right for You?
But we will not just rush you into a treatment program. We will make sure that you will benefit from this treatment.
Sermorelin therapy can provide life-changing benefits for adults who have a growth hormone deficiency and those who seek to reverse some of the effects of aging-like symptoms or treat a medical disorder such as hormone deficiency.
Also, our clinic can offer both Sermorelin and HGH replacement therapy with Testosterone.
Testosterone works fabulously with Sermorelin if you are suffering from both Low-T and growth hormone deficiency. If the results of one therapy fall short of your expectations, we have the flexibility to switch treatments from Sermorelin therapy to HGH replacement therapy or the other way around.
We have found, ironically, that more patients prefer Sermorelin because they report better results. However, some patients do not get good results with Sermorelin, so our hormone doctors prefer, in this circumstance, to prescribe HGH injections.
Sermorelin Dosage: What is the Correct Dosage of Sermorelin?
When beginning Sermorelin therapy, we recommend you start with low doses beginning with 2mg, 3mg, 6mg, or 9mg vials; you will typically inject anywhere from 100mcg to 300mcg per evening with a tinge of hunger or with an empty stomach.
We will provide you with detailed instructions on the injection protocol, which is painless for most patients and far more straightforward than you may think. In a very brief period, this daily ritual will be as simple as brushing your teeth.
